When is Shab Qadr

Allah Most High granted His Beloved Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) the knowledge of the beginnings and the endings and among them He also granted Him the knowledge of date of Shab Qadr. Thus, in Zujajatul Masabeeh, it is mentioned on the authority of Hadhrat Imam Malik and Imam Shafa’i (May Allah shower His Mercy on them):

Translation: It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Ummul Momineen Hadhrat Aisha Siddiqua (May Allah be well pleased with her), she says that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: I saw Shab Qadr in Ramadhan, but when 2 people fought with each other, its knowledge was lifted.  This is narrated by Imam Malik, Imam Shafa’i and others.
